Senior PHP developer

Tasks:

  • Planning, developing, testing and bugfixing of components in PHP environment (mostly in multi-developing tasks)
  • Extending, correcting of existing programme components. Preparing programme documentation  (developer and user documentation)
  • Participating in the conception  elaboration of new developments
  • Mapping up and decision support about the new, promising technologies that are not used at our company yet (with pilot developments, technology informations)
     

Requirements: 

  • Desire to work

  • Ability and willingness to teamwork
  • Ability and willingness to learn  (coming to know new developing technologies, software usage field)
  • In-depth knowledge in PHP 5 (server side and front-end solutions as well)
  • Knowledge and apply of OOP concepts
  • In-depth knowledge in Web technologies (XHTML , CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, etc.)
  • Knowledge (user experience) of a templating solution (e.g. Smarty) or framework (e.g. Cedelgniter, Zend)-
  • Experience in database related development (MySQL)
  • Basic knowledge of software technologies (has an overview of different developing methodologies, planning, programming and testing methods)
  • Knowledge of the most important UML diagram types (able to understand the drawings, UML based planning experience is not required)
  • University ( Technical ) degree or advanced university studies
  • Intermediate English knowledge (good understanding of technical documentation related to work )

Advantages:

  • jQuery experience
  • Flash experience
  • Knowledge of optimization technics (cache, coding technics...)
  • Knowledge of any agile methods, experience in agile project
  • Knowledge of the most importnat diagram types of UML (good understanding of drawings; but experience in UML-based planning is not requirement)
  • Unix/Linux user experience
  • Basic IT security knowledge
