SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR - LINUX / Microsoft Windows (Junior)

Responsibilities:
- Controlling Linux servers (openSUSE, mailing, saving, web-, svn server, installing and operation our own-developed applications);
- Installation, configuration, control of Linux clients (OpenSUSE) and users' support;
- Controlling MS Windows 2003/2008 servers and MS XP, MS Vista clients (Exchange 2008 mailing, MS Office 2007 products, saving, printing, installing and operation our own-developed applications), users' support;
- Participating in software developing activities, testing unique applications and questing error;
- Installing, configuring and control developing environment;
- Implementing complex test and pilot systems on Linux, MS Win, Solaris x86 platform, by the help of VMware, XEN ;
- Operation inner LAN and WAN networks,
- Upgrading and updating of hardware/software;
- Maintenance, support and bugfixing of the existing applications;
- Minimize the IT service interruption and troubleshooting.
Requirements:
- Professinal qualification;
- Knowledge of English language (understand technical documentation);
- Task-focused work;
- Receptiveness to newtechnologies, systems
- Willingness to write and maintain documentations;
- Ability of complex control of problems;
- Ability of intiative and willingness to learn;
- Knowledge of at least on Linux distribution as a routine (openSUSE/Fedora/RedHat/CentOS/Ubuntu);
- Basic knowledge of MS Windows and MS Exchange;
- High-level knowledge of any script language (Bash, KSH, Python, Perl);
- TCP/IP network knowledge, basic knowledge of Cisco;
- Knowledge of generally used internet server applications (POP3/ IMAP, VPN);
Advantages:
- Postfix or Exim, dovecot knowledge;
- Knowledge of a version control system (SVN, CVS);
- Knowledge of PHP;
- Experience in operating Linux/UNIX and Windows
- Knowledge of administrating border control systems (virus-protection, firewall);
- Experience in configuring network appliances;
- Basic knowledge of Linux cluster;
- Basic knowledge of VPN technologies (openVPN, Cisco, Checkpoint);
- Basic knowledge of VMware server, ESX server, XEN and VirtualBox;
- Basic knowledge of data base handling (MySQL, Oracle, MS SQL);
- Experience in software development, programming;
- Experience in Web development;
